Charleston, West Virginia Shooter stopped by CCW

May, 8, 2022. A shooter in Charleston, WV was taken out by a female CCW holder before he was able to kill or injure any one else. The shooter was warned about speeding near an apartment complex where there were several kids celebrating a graduation. The shooter, left and then returned with an AR-15 and began shooting. A female CCW carrier was able to shoot him and end the situation before the shooter did any harm. The shooter sustained multiple gunshot wounds and later died from his injuries.

Turns out the shooter had a “long criminal history” which also likely means he was not legally able to own a firearm at all.
