Will Biden Be the Nominee? Zion Patriot, July 8, 2024 Joe Biden has come under a lot of fire following the first debate with former President Trump at the end of June. Many in the main stream media and his own party are calling on him to step down, claiming that his mental acuity is not up to the task of running the most powerful nation in the world. Of course, many on the other side of the aisle have been saying this since the 2020 election, but we were labeled conspiracy theorists, but I digress. However, there are only three ways that Biden can be replaced as the Democratic party’s nominee: Biden steps down voluntarily Biden is removed via the 25th Amendment Biden’s death Biden has dug in his heels and says he will not step down. so that takes option #1 off the table. Of course, it has been noted that his son, Hunter Biden, has started going to some of the higher power meetings and may be acting as an advisor to his father. the elder Biden has counseled closely with his family in making this decision, but with Hunter’s recent conviction of a federal felony, it might not be in the younger Biden’s interest for his father to step down. After all, who else would be willing to pardon him. Plus with his father out of power, where would he get the money for his lavish lifestyle since most of his income appears to be derived from influence and access to his father? Which brings us to the second scenario – the 25th amendment. This is a possibility, however horrifying it is. However, Harris has said she supports Biden and has publicly said she has no plans to replace him at this time. (Of course we all know she is measuring for new drapes in the White house). Kamala is less popular than Joe, so it is in her best interest to keep Joe around and hope he can win in November, and then take over when the next set of stairs, or a sandbag get old Joe. The other problem here is that she is not guaranteed to take over the nomination at the democratic convention. With other names being floated about like Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, and others, you can bet if anyone else is nominated, they would choose a different VP, pushing Harris out of her position of power and ascendancy. So with the first and second options pretty much in the “not likely” category, that brings us to the third option. If Joe is smart he will avoid Stairs and bicycles at all costs. Hillary was not available for comment. Politics
